₹6.35 lakh to ₹6.64 lakh is a lot to pay for 28 horsepower, and we are not going to pretend the value case is obvious. What you get for it is a genuinely well-specified compact: four-wheel drive, oil-immersed brakes, power steering and an economy PTO mode, all standard. The 540E setting at 1771 engine rpm is the feature we rate most, because most of a horticulture year is light PTO work where the engine should not be screaming. Against that, three things. The gearbox is only 6F+2R and partial synchromesh, which is a thin choice of ratios for this money; the Kubota NeoStar gives 9F+3R fully constant mesh for less. The lift is 739 kg, which is low for 28 HP and lower than the Swaraj 724 XM manages at 25 HP for ₹1.8 lakh less. And the warranty is one year, against five from Mahindra and Kubota, which on the most expensive tractor here is difficult to defend. Buy it for the build and the dealer network, not the arithmetic.
