At 1750 kg this is by far the heaviest machine in the 25 HP bracket, and that single fact explains most of what it does well and most of what it does badly. Swaraj built the 724 XM as a small farm tractor rather than an orchard tractor: 1824 cc across two cylinders, 22.5 HP at the PTO, a 1000 kg lift, and a rear track that adjusts from 1350 mm all the way out to 1900 mm. That is a working width for wheat, cotton and vegetable beds, not for a grape row. Ground clearance is 375 mm, useful when you are straddling ridged cane or standing pulses. The Orchard variant narrows things for mango, citrus and vineyard work. Buyers are typically farmers with four to eight acres who want a tractor that ploughs, sows, sprays, runs a thresher and pulls a trolley without needing a second machine.
