Ask around any village in Gujarat or Madhya Pradesh and someone in earshot has owned a 241. The 241 is bought on running cost, and we think that logic still holds. Pulling 42 HP out of 2500 cc at 1500 rated RPM is a conservative piece of engineering, and conservative is exactly what you want in a tractor that will run a thresher through a whole Rabi season and then haul trolleys to the mandi. The dual clutch means the PTO keeps turning while you change gear, which matters on a cultivator in sticky black cotton soil. Oil immersed brakes at this price are not a given, and resale on a 241 is about as safe as it gets in India.

What we would not pretend about: the base transmission is sliding mesh, and that means stopping the tractor to change ranges and a clutch leg that knows about it by evening. Power steering is an extra cost, so compare like with like when a dealer quotes ₹6.33 lakh.
