Grape and pomegranate growers who have spent years reversing a full-size tractor out of a row are the reason this class of machine exists at all. Mahindra's 20 HP JIVO turns inside 2300 mm, which in practice means it comes around at the end of a vineyard row without a three-point shuffle and without knocking the last vine. The 1366 cc engine is water-cooled and splits its work across two cylinders, so a long afternoon dragging a sprayer in Nashik heat does not cook it the way an air-cooled single would. Power steering is standard, and that matters more than buyers expect on a light front axle carrying a mounted tank. Buyers here are cotton and sugarcane farmers doing inter-cultivation, polyhouse operators, and anyone whose holding is small enough that a 45 HP machine would sit in the shed nine months of the year.
