Those details distinguish it from the two-cylinder 280; this is not a different paint colour or a second listing for the same engine.

Use the gear choices for a defined task

The manufacturer identifies 9 forward and 3 reverse ratios, side-shift controls, oil-immersed brakes, a differential lock and ADDC hydraulics. More ratios do not by themselves establish a lower minimum working speed. Request the speed chart for the delivered tyre configuration and mark the speeds needed by your intended task.

For a rotary implement, agree on the required PTO setting first and then assess which travel ratios suit the job. Do not use the engine’s rated rpm as if it were the PTO shaft speed.
