For ₹3.21 lakh to ₹3.55 lakh, three cylinders and a 31.5 litre tank make this the most comfortable of the cheap 20 HP tractors to spend a full day on. The 540E PTO speed is a proper inclusion at this price and will save diesel on every spraying pass you make. Oil-immersed brakes are standard, which the similarly priced Captain 200 DI does not give you. Two years or 2000 hours of warranty sits between Captain's one year and Mahindra's five. But the compromises are real. The gearbox is sliding mesh with a centre shift and only 6F+2R, so you stop to change gear and you have few ratios to pick from. Steering is mechanical, not power. At 790 kg it is the lightest tractor on this page, and that shows the moment you ask it to pull a plough, because it will spin the rear wheels before the engine strains. Take it for spraying, inter-cultivation and light garden tillage. Do not take it ploughing black cotton soil.
