Shaktiman 3737 Tejas Volvo Sugarcane Harvester Price November 2026
This record follows Shaktiman’s Indian 3737 Tejas page specifying a four-cylinder Volvo CRDi diesel engine. Keep it separate from older 3737 Cummins specifications and from differently named Tejas Ultra or export configurations. Before paying a deposit, identify the engine and machine on the actual nameplates and attach the corresponding specification to the order.
Match the harvester to the cane and collection chain
The OEM identifies hydraulic chassis-height adjustment, twin crop dividers and an extractor/elevator assembly with 168-degree turning. These describe functions, not a guarantee that any row layout or trailer can be served. Arrange a demonstration with representative standing and lodged cane, the planned collection vehicle and actual headland access. Record the collected cane, visible losses and interruptions before estimating daily throughput; no measured field output is claimed here.
Service access matters during the harvest window
Its brochure describes centralised greasing, radiator cleaning and an adjustable extractor fan. Ask the operator to explain inspection points that remain manual, demonstrate fan adjustment and identify locally stocked wear parts. Compare ownership with a harvesting contractor using your realistic work schedule, transport arrangements and repair support. Automatic functions do not eliminate inspection, and a brochure fuel-saving claim is not a measured running-cost estimate for your fields.
Price research, 3 November 2026: Tractorkarvan lists a national starting ₹10,00,000, while a Rajkot marketplace listing shows ₹90 lakh–₹1.15 crore for worldwide buyers and contains inconsistent specifications. These are not a defensible price range for one Indian configuration. No ex-showroom or on-road amount is assigned; request a dated local quote identifying generation, equipment, taxes and delivery.
