Honda RPR160-1200 Price November 2026

Price on requestex-showroom

Honda RPR160-1200 is the HI+ walk-behind power reaper with a GX160 petrol engine. Its purchase makes sense only as part of a complete harvesting plan: cutting and conveying the crop do not remove the need to collect it and arrange threshing. It should not be compared with a combine solely by purchase price or engine rating.

Cutting package and access

The Indian page and leaflet specify 1200 mm cutting width, one forward and one reverse gear, and a chain-driven star-wheel conveyor described as four rows. Cutting height is listed as 2.54–5.08 cm and dry weight as approximately 120 kg. These figures describe this machine; they do not guarantee suitability for every standing or lodged crop. Confirm the exact crop, stalk condition and field surface with the supplier before a demonstration.

Plan entry, turning space, cut-crop discharge and loading for transport. Cutting width is not the complete transport envelope. Ask the dealer to show the approved stopping, reversing and clearing procedures, with guards fitted and observers clear. Arrange the gathering crew and threshing service before treating a successful cutting trial as a complete harvest solution.

A capacity claim needs clarification

The leaflet advertises 1.3–1.7 acres per hour alongside 2.9 km/h operating speed. At the stated 1.2 m width, uninterrupted full-width geometry gives 1.2 × 2.9 ÷ 10 = 0.348 ha/h, approximately 0.86 acres/h, before turning or other losses. Those stated inputs therefore do not substantiate the higher claim. This arithmetic is a consistency check, not a field test; request corrected specifications and a timed trial in relevant conditions.

Power labels also differ: the leaflet says 4.8 hp at 3600 rpm while the live engine table says 3.2 kW, or 4.3 hp, at 3600 rpm. No single reconciled power figure is assigned here. The live fuel-tank specification is 3.1 L; it does not establish litres per acre. Our field-capacity guide explains how to keep theoretical width-and-speed calculations separate from completed work.

Indicative Indian purchase reference

Honda India displayed ₹1,32,999 on 8 November 2026 for RPR160-1200. The detail page did not clearly state the tax basis beside this national listed amount. Obtain a local quotation covering taxes, freight, assembly, demonstration and spares. It is not an on-road total, and no subsidy deduction or labour saving is assumed.

Honda RPR160-1200 — Frequently asked questions

Does RPR160-1200 thresh the grain?

It is listed as a power reaper with a crop conveyor, not a combine. Plan collection and threshing separately.

Can I budget on 1.7 acres per hour?

Not from the published figures alone. The stated width and speed do not support that rate; obtain clarification and a representative timed trial.

Is the 120 kg figure an exact transport weight?

No. Honda marks it as approximate dry weight. Confirm the delivered configuration and safe loading requirements.
