A 163 cc petrol engine starts easily, needs no water system, and can be lifted into a pickup by two people. The adjustable 24 or 36 inch width is genuinely useful when you move from a narrow polyhouse bed to open ground, and the pin-based disassembly means you can strip the rotor without a workshop. Be clear about what it will not do. Three to five inches of working depth is weeding and seedbed depth, nothing more; it will not puddle a paddy field and it will not break unploughed land. Petrol at Indian pump prices costs more per hour than diesel, so this is an expensive machine to run for long shifts, which is partly why the 2.4 litre tank only gives around two and a half hours. Four horsepower is what it is. Buy it as a weeder and it is excellent. Buy it as a small power tiller and you will be disappointed within a week.
