Honda WB15X Price November 2026

Honda WB15X is a small surface water pump with 38 mm suction and discharge connections. It is worth considering for modest water-transfer duties where moving a larger framed pump and its hoses is inconvenient. It is not a submersible borewell pump, and its compact engine does not establish how much water will reach an elevated tank. Define the source, destination and pipe route before choosing it.

Verified design and a specification conflict

The Indian owner’s manual specifies a GX80D four-stroke petrol engine of 79.7 cc, net output of 1.5 kW at 3600 rpm and a 1.5 L fuel tank. The pump is a centrifugal self-priming monoblock with a mechanical seal. Its stated maximum discharge is 160 L/min; the manual gives 26 m total head and 4 m suction head. These are separate ratings, not a promise of maximum delivery at maximum lift.

The live product page disagrees with the manual: it prints 10–34 m head and 11.1 kg dry weight, while the manual specifies 26 m and 15 kg. The linked range leaflet also gives 26 m and 15 kg. We use the manual as a labelled reference and leave structured weight unspecified until the dealer confirms the supplied unit. Do not plan carrying arrangements or approve a pumping duty from the conflicting website numbers.

Match the actual installation

Ask for the curve and a demonstration with a representative suction arrangement. Self-priming still requires the prescribed water preparation; running dry can damage the seal. The suction hose, strainer, couplings and airtight joints belong in the order, not in an afterthought. Compared with the larger WB30XD, this is a lower-flow choice; it should not be bought merely because the engine is easier to carry. Our pump duty worksheet explains the measurements needed.

Indian price and ownership

Honda India displayed ₹26,399 MRP inclusive of all taxes for WB15X on 7 November 2026. This is a national indicative buying reference, not a local delivered quote, ex-showroom tractor price or on-road amount. Confirm the complete accessory package, freight and commissioning separately. Obtain the matching manual and service schedule, and arrange seasonal fuel-system care before the pump is left unused.

Honda WB15X — Frequently asked questions

Does self-priming mean WB15X can start dry?

No. Follow the manual’s priming and strainer instructions; self-priming is not permission to run the mechanical seal dry.

Which WB15X weight should I use?

The Indian manual gives 15 kg dry, while the live page prints 11.1 kg. Confirm the supplied unit; neither number includes every hose and accessory you may carry.

Is ₹26,399 a delivered price?

It was Honda India’s tax-inclusive MRP on 7 November 2026. Obtain a local itemised quote for the pump, accessories, delivery and commissioning.
