We think this tractor makes sense for a narrow set of buyers, and no sense at all for everyone else. If you take contract work that specifies TREM IV, or you run a laser leveller and a big rotavator back to back all season, common rail injection is worth real money to you. Holding 231 Nm steadily as the load swings is what keeps a leveller blade cutting evenly, and the 20F+20R shuttle with reverse PTO turns a full day of headland turns into something a driver can survive.

But ₹10.08 lakh is a lot of tractor money in India, and at that number a buyer will look hard at the John Deere 5310, which costs from ₹10.48 lakh, is also 55 HP, and carries a brand premium at resale that Sonalika does not yet command. The 4712 cc engine is heavy on displacement, and while that gives lugging ability, common rail also means your village mechanic cannot fix an injector problem with a screwdriver. You are buying into an authorised workshop for the life of the machine. The 5 year warranty softens that, not eliminates it.
