Solis is the newer brand from International Tractors Ltd, the Hoshiarpur company behind Sonalika, launched in 2016. It shares Sonalika's engineering and factory but is positioned a notch above, with different styling and a more feature-led specification.
We list one Solis model, the 5015 E. It makes 50 HP and 45.8 PTO HP from a 3065 cc three-cylinder engine, lifts 2000 kg, and is priced ₹7.70 to ₹8.29 lakh with a 5-year warranty. The 45.8 PTO HP figure is the one to note — that is only a 4 HP loss through the transmission, so a multi-crop thresher or a 6-foot rotavator gets close to the full engine output. Combined with 2000 kg of lift, that makes it a capable machine for the 8 to 20 acre farmer running mounted implements.
The engine block is the same 3065 cc unit as the Sonalika 745 DI III Sikander, which prices from ₹6.47 lakh. That comparison is the honest problem with Solis in India: for around ₹1.2 lakh less you can buy essentially the same powertrain wearing a Sonalika badge, with a wider dealer presence behind it. Solis makes more sense where the local dealer is a Solis dealer.

Solis 5015 E or Sonalika 745 DI III Sikander?
Both come from the same Hoshiarpur plant and share the 3065 cc engine. Solis gives 45.8 PTO HP and 2000 kg lift; the Sikander gives 43 PTO HP and 1800 kg lift for about ₹1.2 lakh less. Unless the extra PTO and lift matter for your implements, the Sonalika is the better value.
Is the Solis 5015 E good for rotavator work?
Yes. 45.8 PTO HP is enough to drive a 6-foot rotavator through dry stubble ground without dropping revs, and the 2000 kg lift takes the weight of a heavier rotary tiller at the headland turn. In wet paddy puddling the 2WD layout will limit you more than the power does.
