Farmtrac Champion 39 2WD Price October 2026
The Farmtrac Champion 39 is listed in the 39 HP category with a three-cylinder 2.34-litre engine, 162 Nm torque and 34.7 HP PTO output. The last figure, published in the Indian brochure, helps separate a powered-implement requirement from the engine category printed on the bonnet.
What changes from the Champion 35
The brochure gives the Champion 35 a 31.2 HP PTO figure and 148 Nm torque. Both have an 8-forward, 2-reverse constant-mesh centre-shift gearbox and a listed 1500 kg lift. The useful comparison is therefore whether the extra documented output and available controls meet a specific task. These figures are not evidence that the 39 uses less diesel or completes every job faster.
Choose the clutch and PTO arrangement explicitly
The product page lists single/dual clutch and standard 540/MRPTO. Treat the slash as a specification to resolve, not a promise that every function is supplied together. Ask the dealer to identify the clutch, selectors and approved PTO modes on the delivered tractor. Reverse PTO must only be used as permitted by the tractor and implement manuals; it is not a universal blockage-clearing instruction.
Understand the single-acting DCV feature
Farmtrac separately describes a single-acting directional control valve for trolley operation. That description is useful when discussing a compatible tipping circuit. It does not prove that the same outlet can operate every reversible plough or hydraulic motor. Bring the implement's hydraulic requirement to the dealer rather than buying from the number of visible couplers.
Check access and the whole towing combination
The brochure gives 1710 mm overall width and a 2100 mm wheelbase, with mechanical/power steering choices on the page. Measure the delivered tyres and attached equipment on your route. Published promotional trolley examples are not an approval for a particular payload, trailer brake arrangement or slope. Resolve those limits independently.
Price remains quote-dependent
Research found materially different public price claims and incomplete equipment scope for this model. We have not selected one as a reliable current range. Request an ex-showroom quote identifying the clutch and steering, then separate applicable on-road additions. Do not compare a used Champion 39 advertisement with a new-machine quotation.
Sources and ownership checks
Farmtrac India and its linked brochure were checked on 9 October 2026. Confirm the delivered specification, operator training, first service and written warranty with the authorised dealer. This is an editorial comparison of documented equipment, not a field test or measured fuel-use claim.
