On pure value we think this is the strongest tractor in this batch. Nothing else here gives you 50 HP, a 1800 kg lift, oil immersed brakes, power steering, constant mesh gears and a 5 year, 5000 hour warranty for under ₹7 lakh. The John Deere 5050 D matches the power and the warranty and costs ₹1.1 lakh more while lifting 200 kg less. The 3443 cc engine is large for 50 HP, so it works at low stress, and 209 Nm arriving at 1850 RPM is exactly what you want when a cultivator hits a compacted layer.

Two honest warnings. That 2245 kg kerb weight is a genuine liability in wet paddy. If you puddle, this tractor will sink where a 1800 kg machine keeps moving, and you will spend the season fighting it. Second, Farmtrac's dealer and workshop network is thinner than John Deere's or Massey's in South India, and a 5 year warranty is only as good as the workshop that honours it.
