John Deere GreenSystem SD1009 Seed Fertilizer Drill Price November 2026

SD1009 is the smaller GreenSystem seed-cum-fertilizer drill in the Indian table. It uses 9 tines, shovel openers and fluted-roller metering. Seed and fertilizer capacities are respectively 65 kg and 60 kg. Operating width is 1800 mm, compared with 2030 mm overall width; these measurements answer different questions. Published operation depth is 40–60 mm.

Prove delivery with the actual material

Adjustment does not establish the correct crop rate. Obtain the agronomic seed and fertilizer targets separately, then calibrate each circuit using the actual materials. Check the loaded combination and field condition

Add the intended hopper loads when assessing tractor lift and handling; hopper capacities are not the empty implement mass. This shovel-opener drill should not be assumed equivalent to a residue-handling seeder in an unprepared combine-harvested paddy field.

Price research on 30 October 2026 found conflicting listings, including a low aggregator amount and much higher seller quotes with unclear inclusions. No reconciled numeric price is adopted.
