The blade options are the honest reason to buy this rotavator, and the single-speed gearbox is the honest reason to think twice. With one gear ratio you have exactly one rotor speed for a given PTO speed. Tilth is then controlled only by how fast you drive and which PTO setting you pick, so on a day when you want coarse clods for a cotton field and fine soil for a vegetable bed, you are managing both with the throttle. A multi-speed box does that properly, and Maschio gives you one for less money in a narrower machine. Now the width question. 1750 mm behind 45 HP is optimistic in black cotton soil or in wet paddy ground. It will work, but the tractor will be loaded and you will be in a low gear. We would treat 50 HP as the real requirement and be relaxed only above that. At 1,19,777 rupees you are getting 6 ft of proven current-production machine with parts available in most districts, which counts for more than a specification sheet when a rotor bearing goes in the middle of sowing week.
