What the published dimensions mean

The OEM lists 9 arms with 3 tines each, a 290 cm rotor diameter, 285 kg empty mass and Category II three-point linkage. Its stated tractor requirement starts at 30 HP. The 330 cm overall width is not a verified effective working width; do not calculate area coverage from it. The tandem arrangement uses 4 tyres, and working height is adjustable.

Test the windrow, not just movement

Ask for a demonstration in representative straw: inspect material left behind, soil carried into the row and whether the following pickup can accept its shape. Compared with buying only a baler, the extra rake means another pass, operator task and maintenance schedule. Check tine availability, tyre condition and the correct gearbox lubricant. Have the supplier verify driveline length, guarding and permitted PTO speed; engine horsepower alone does not settle those checks.
