John Deere India’s GreenSystem Combination Implement combines a chisel section, tandem disc gangs and a levelling roller. The published configuration has 5 chisels, 8 front plus 8 rear discs, a 1950 mm working width and 810 kg mass. It is a combined tillage machine, distinct from the standalone CP1005 chisel plough.

Match more than horsepower

The OEM specifies Category II, 55 HP and above with 4WD, and a ballast requirement. Do not turn that into approval for every tractor carrying a 55 HP badge. Obtain the manufacturer-approved ballast, linkage and loading arrangement for the actual tractor. The 2072 mm overall width is also different from the working width; use the correct dimension for access and storage.

Compare the finished seedbed

The main discs are 22-inch notched units; the furrow-closing disc is listed separately as 20-inch plain. Ask for a demonstration of gang-angle and roller adjustment with your soil moisture and residue load. Combining stages can reduce separate operations, but the required number of passes depends on the starting field and accepted finish. Do not buy against a guaranteed fuel saving or a fixed pass count without a comparable trial.
