Powertrac Euro 28G 4WD Price October 2026

The Powertrac Euro 28G, also called Euro G28, is the 28 HP-category member of the Indian G-Series. The factory brochure gives a three-cylinder 1.39-litre engine, 80 Nm torque and 22 HP PTO output. It shares a 750 kg lift rating with the smaller 24G, so the upgrade question is principally about the actual powered job and physical configuration, not a presumed increase in every capacity.

Compare PTO demand before rotavator width

The documented 22 HP PTO output exceeds the 24G brochure's 19.2 HP. That gives a specific comparison for an attachment supplier, rather than relying on bonnet horsepower alone. Ask whether the intended implement, soil condition and working depth are approved for this tractor. A suggested rotavator width on a sales page is not a universal promise of depth, speed or acres per hour.

The 28G needs its own access measurement

Its brochure lists 1065 mm overall width, 2740 mm length, 1560 mm wheelbase and 986 kg weight. The 24G's narrower figure should not be copied onto this card merely because the two look similar. Include the implement's projections and swept path when measuring access. Our orchard measurement guide helps record the route without treating row spacing as guaranteed clearance.

Resolve the front-tyre discrepancy

The brochure gives a 6 x 16 front tyre for the 28G; the current model page lists 5 x 12 and 6 x 12 front choices. We have not selected one as a universal supplied fitment. Ask the authorised dealer for the approved front-and-rear pair and its dimensions on the actual 4WD machine. Do not combine one source's tyre with another source's width to create a configuration the manufacturer has not confirmed.

Put the PTO modes and controls on the handover sheet

The page lists single clutch, power steering, oil-immersed brakes and 540/540E PTO, with MRPTO also appearing in its PTO entry. The brochure documents 9+3 constant-mesh side-shift gears. Have the dealer identify each supplied mode and its permitted use; reverse PTO is not a general instruction to clear blockages. Engine speed for a mode and travel gear for the job remain separate choices.

Account for the loaded attachment

A 750 kg hydraulic rating alone cannot approve a full mounted sprayer or a tool with substantial rear overhang. Get the loaded mass, hitch geometry and ballast arrangement checked. If that combination exceeds the approved limit, additional PTO output does not correct it. Compare ownership support locally as well: the service and parts arrangements for your district matter more than an unsupported claim that a higher power category is always cheaper to run.

Indicative India price

TractorKarvan, checked on 11 October 2026, lists a range of ₹5,12,300–5,31,100 ex-showroom for this named drive variant. This is an indicative India-wide listing, not a district-specific on-road quotation or proof of stock. Confirm the supplied tyre and equipment package, then request applicable insurance, registration, delivery and accessory charges separately. A price listing does not resolve the specification differences noted here.

Sources and ownership checks

The Powertrac India model page and linked factory brochure, including its model-specific table, were checked on 11 October 2026. Ask the authorised dealer for the delivered specification, operator orientation, service schedule, parts availability and written warranty terms. No fuel-use measurement, field trial or guaranteed work rate is claimed here.

Our verdict: Powertrac Euro 28G 4WD

Verdict by the Aglist editorial desk

Shortlist the 28G when 22 PTO HP fits the intended attachment and the delivered tyre package clears your route. Do not borrow the 24G width or assume extra lift capacity.

Powertrac Euro 28G 4WD — Frequently asked questions

Does the 28G lift more than the 24G?

Both checked manufacturer specifications list 750 kg. A higher engine category does not establish greater lift.

Which front tyre is confirmed for every 28G?

No universal fitment is established: the brochure lists 6 x 16, while the page lists different sizes. Confirm the approved supplied pair.

Is Euro G28 a separate model from Euro 28G?

No. These are naming orders used for the same G-Series model.
