The Mahindra OJA 3132 is a 32 HP, three-cylinder 4WD tractor to assess for orchard work and smaller field operations. Its useful distinction is the 8F + 8R shuttle layout, rather than a promise that a compact tractor will fit every orchard. Measure access with the intended implement and ask for a demonstration of the actual controls on the quoted machine.
Shuttle gears and PTO controls are separate checks
Mahindra lists constant mesh with synchro shuttle, power steering and 540/540E PTO. The transmission-clutch entry says single/dual, while the features describe an electrically operated wet PTO clutch. Those entries describe different controls and should not be collapsed into one “automatic clutch” claim. Ask the dealer to identify the fitted transmission clutch, PTO engagement and optional equipment in writing.
For repeated turns or direction changes, compare the required working speeds with the supplied gear chart. An equal count of forward and reverse gears does not prove that the tractor may be reversed under load without the prescribed procedure. The listed 950 kg lift and 11.2 x 24 rear tyres also need an attachment-specific check: a full sprayer has different loading from the same sprayer empty.
