Fieldking FKRFM-5 Price November 2026
FKRFM-5 is a reciprocating forage mower for cutting standing fodder and laying it down for the next operation. It is not a forage chopper that produces a specified feed length. Before buying, decide whether the job ends at cutting or also requires collection, chopping and transport; those additional operations need their own equipment and time.
Match the cutter and tractor
The current Indian manufacturer specification gives a 1500 mm cutting width, 19 blades, approximately 185 kg machine weight, 540 rpm PTO and a 40–55 HP tractor range. The wider FKRFM-6 is a separate size; do not transfer its dimensions into this order. Fieldking describes opposing blade motion and a side deflector to place cut forage in a line. These features explain the cutting arrangement, not a guaranteed daily area or uniform result in lodged crops.
Ask for a demonstration in the fodder you actually grow. Inspect missed stems, plugging, the laid swath and the room needed to turn beside bunds. Compare it with a rotary mower on the required cut and collection workflow, not just advertised width. Obtain the correct knife sections, adjustment procedure and guarded driveline arrangement. Stop and isolate the tractor as instructed before clearing the cutting mechanism.
Indian price research on 5 November 2026 found an exact FKRFM-5 listing requiring contact for price. No reliable amount tied to this variant and delivery region was established. Request a dated quote specifying PTO shaft, guards, taxes and transport; a general mower starting price is not an ex-showroom or on-road quote for this machine. OEM product; OEM specifications.
